2/17/20 Girls Water Polo: Monte Vista 8, Valley Center 7

Monte Vista and Valley Center facing off in a Division 3 girls water polo semifinal match up.

The Monarchs are led by Patricia Ramos, Daisy Diaz and Keala Macias who each finish with two goals in the contest.

Trailing 7-2 to begin the second half, Valley Center gets back to within one goal thanks to a 4-0 run highlighted by 2 goals from Analise McCoy.

Monte Vista’s Daisy Diaz converts the penalty shot to begin the fourth quarter and that proves to be the game winner as the Monarchs win 8-7 and advance to the Division 3 championship game.
