2/27/19 Boys Volleyball: Helix 3, West Hills 0

A Grossmont Conference clash between Helix Charter and West Hills in boys volleyball.

The Scotties won the first set 25-15, and although Helix won the second set 25-21, the second set was much more competitive. Helix jumped out to a big lead in the third set and cruised to the 3-0 sweep with a third set win 25-20.

The Scotties’ Jonah Leota tallied 5 kills and teammate Elijah Laing finished with a team-high 8 kills.

Helix boys volleyball will be on the road all year because their gym is being renovated.
