3/18/19 Softball: Mater Dei Catholic 6, Rancho Bernardo 2

A moment of silence before the softball game at Mater Dei Catholic High School to honor Mark Campbell, who passed away unexpectedly Monday morning; Campbell was well known in the club softball world as coach of the OC Batbusters.

He was 57 years old.

On to the game highlights; Crusader Alexia Morales singles to center field driving home two runs as Mater Dei leads 3-0 over Rancho Bernardo.

In the 4th inning, Mater Dei’s Lexi Sosa doubles to the wall in right field; Bria Sosa scores for a 6-0 lead.

Lexi goes the distance striking out 7 as top ranked Mater Dei improves to 9-0 with a 6-2 win over RB.
