3/23/19 Track & Field: 41st Annual Aztec Invitational

The 41st Annual Aztec Invitational Track meet welcomes prep and college athletes.

In the high school girls 100 meters Kristina Bong of Great Oak in Temecula edges San Diego High’s Amara Muhammad by 8 one hundredths of a second.

Great Oak’s Bryce Lucas wins the boys high school 100 meters. George Oak from Patrick Henry finishes third.

The girls 800 meters comes down to a sprint to the finish with the Cavers Kiara Courtney taking first place by two tenths of a second.

In the boys 800 meters Holtville’s Eddie Quintero avenges his loss in yesterday’s mile to San Diego’s Karsten Kluth.

This time Quintero finishes first with Kluth second.

And in the women’s collegiate 800 meters San Diego State freshman Nyjari McNeil finishes first after winning yesterday’s 400 meters.
