At Mission Bay High School, the Buccaneers host the La Jolla Vikings in a City League match-up. The Vikings score first when Devin Brown grounds out to first base, Blaise Gimber scores for a 1-0 lead.

In the second inning, Gimber singles to right, Gavin Graff scores increasing the lead to 2-0.

Mission Bay responds in the third inning, Dusty Schraeder grounds to first and Gabe Esquivel beats the relay to home cutting the lead to one run.

But the Vikings hold on for a 5-3 win improving to 2-0 in league play.
