3/28/19 Baseball: Cathedral Catholic 8, St Augustine 0

Game two of the Holy War between St. Augustine and host Cathedral.

In the first inning, the Dons’ Nick Guerena triples to right field and eventually scores on a wild pitch to open the scoring.

Fourth inning, Cathedral’s Jake Rons singles to center and drives in Mikie Welch for the 2-0 lead.

The Dons’ Shane Telfer and Thomas Carter combine for the 3-hit shutout as Cathedral wins 8-0; Guerena goes three for four, with a triple and two runs.

There will be on more Holy War before the regular season ends but the Dons have already won the series with a 2-0 record.
