3/7/19 Baseball: Eastlake 4, Helix 3

Helix Charter hosted #3 Eastlake in a GMC Bill Dickens bracket game.

The Scotties hit back-to-back, one-run doubles in the second inning to take a 3-0 lead. Then Titan and SDSU signee Keoni Cavaco hit a solo home run in the 5th inning to make it 3-2 Helix.

The Scotties’ Erick Rodriguez made a great diving catch in center field.

But moments later with the game tied, Eastlake and UCSD-signee Jalen Fejeran hits a solo home run for the 4-3 lead.

Same score in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Titans’ Ethan Cashetta robs Helix of the game-tying home run in the center field.

Eastlake wins 4-3.
