Point Loma’s soccer team was hoping justice would be on their side, but Sotomayor reigned supreme Thursday afternoon, defeating the Pointers 3 to 1 in the Division II regional semifinal.
Junior Shane Ybarra would score the lone goal for Point Loma, part of a four goal barrage over a 10 minute span in the second half that would yield the only scoring of the game.
