3 bodies found in trunk of parked car in San Diego
SAN DIEGO (AP) — San Diego police say three bodies have been found in the trunk of a car by officers investigating a report of a suspicious vehicle.
Someone called police to say that a BMW had been parked for two days on a residential street in the Bay Terraces neighborhood.
Police homicide Lt. Martha Sainz says when officers opened the trunk Sunday evening they found the bodies of two females and one male. All three are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s.
Sainz says the county Medical Examiner’s office will try to determine the identity of the victims and the manner and cause of death.
