30th anniversary California State Games

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – California State Games is a statewide amateur sports festival and a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. The mission of the Games is to promote and nurture the health, education, and well-being of residents by managing a high quality amateur sports event that encourages community participation and provides an olympic-style experience. The first California State Games was held in 1988. We host the California Winter Games and the California State Games summer event which impacts over 12,000 athletes every year!

Registration is open to compete in this year’s California State Games! Organizer Sara Moten told KUSI’s Lauren Phinney all about how you can take part.

Congrats to the young Scripps Soccer players taking part in this year’s 30th California State Games. Still time to register… games are July 12-15th! California State Games www.calstategames.org
