4/26/18 Baseball: Mater Dei 4, Sweetwater 3

Mater Dei comes back from a 2-0 deficit to beat Sweetwater, 4-3 in 10 innings on Thursday afternoon.

The Red Devils took an early 2-0 lead on an RBI triple by Manny Huerta and an RBI single by Cruz Mujica.

After the Crusaders tied it up in the 7th inning, it was Sam Gonzalez hitting a towering 2-run home run over the right field fence to give Mater Dei a 4-2 lead.

Sweetwater would get one back in the bottom of the 10th, but that’s as close as they would get.
