4/28/18 Softball: Granite Hills 17, Steele Canyon 2

In Softball it’s the 35th Annual Hilltop Tournament with the championship coming down to two Grossmont Hills Conference Teams, with the Steele Canyon Cougars facing the Granite Hills Eagles at Hilltop High.

Bottom of first, Granite Hills Staci Chambers doubles in to right, bringing home two for a 3-0 lead.

Bottom of second, Brooke Bertussi with a ground single into left brings in two runs for 10-0 lead.

On the mound, Granite Hills Pitcher Staci Chambers threw eight strikeouts to win the championship 17-2 in five innings.
