4/3/19 Baseball: Eastlake 4, Hilltop 0

In baseball Metro Mesa League play, the Hilltop Lancers face off against the Eastlake Titans.

Bottom of the fourth, Eastlake senior Addian Hinojosa singles deep into right for one run and a 2-0 Titan lead.

Later in the inning, sophomore Marcelo Meyer with a double to the fence in center for two runs increasing Eastlake’s lead to 4-0.

On the mound, Titan senior Ricky Tibbet goes the distance with 11 stikeouts, allowing only one walk and one hit, and throwing 11 strikeouts for a 4-0 shutout.

Eastlake improves to 5-0 in league and 13-1-1 this season.
