4/3/19 Boys Lacrosse: Torrey Pines 21, Cathedral Catholic 6

Torrey Pines scored early and often, on their way to a dominating 21-6 win over crosstown rival, Cathedral Catholic.

The Falcons came out firing, with the first goal of the game coming just 6 seconds into the contest. Teagan Bultman won teh faceoff, he dished it to Blake Erlbeck, who passed it to Alex Pistorius for the 1st of 21 scores for the Falcons. Pistorius would go on to score a game-high, 8 goals for the visiting team.

Just moments later, it would be Brown commit, Porter Hollen with an absolute laser into the net to extend the Falcons’ lead.

Both Christian Rasmussen and Bultman had hat-tricks for Torrey Pines. They go to 9-2 on the season, their 2 losses coming at the hands of out-of-county, and nationally-ranked, teams, St. Ignatius and IMG Academy.

Oliver Mirer and Eddie Shannon Jr each had 2 goals for the Dons. Cathedral Catholic goes to 6-3 on the season.
