Opening of Avocado East Conference play, the Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns traveling east on the 78 to face the Mission Hills Grizzlies.

Bottom of second, Mission Hills’ Senior Kingston Liniak triples to the center field fence bringing in two runs and a 3-1 lead.

Top of the fourth RBV’s Scotty Meyer hits a fielder’s choice bringing in two runs and closing the gap to 4-3 Grizzlies. Bottom of fifth, Kingston Liniak, this time doubling to the left field fence, scoring one and increasing Mission Hills lead to 9-4.

The Grizzlies win 9-7 and are now 1-0 in Conference play.
