SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The 40th Annual San Diego Chinese New Year Fair will be taking place next weekend on Saturday, Feb 4 and Sunday Feb 5 in downtown San Diego, at the intersection of J Street and Third Avenue.

There will be two days of cultural and traditional entertainment on the stage, featuring martial arts, lion dances, traditional Chinese dances, and more.

For the special 40th anniversary, there will be a Saturday night concert featuring local singer Terry Matsuoka, Los Angeles up and coming pop star AZRA, and headliner Katherine Ho.

The honorary chair and board member for presenting organization Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association, Donna Lee, and Ben Stanley from the White Dragon Martial Arts, gave us a preview of what to expect on KUSI’s Good Morning San Diego.
