District 3 County Supervisor candidate Terra Lawson-Remer shares her priorities

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Democrat Terra Lawson-Remer, is a candidate for San Diego Board of Supervisors, running against Republican incumbent Kristin Gaspar who represents District 3 which includes Escondido, Encinitas and parts of northern San Diego.

Lawson-Remer joined Good Morning San Diego to detail her policies that differ from Kristin Gaspar’s on nearly every issue.

She criticized her opponent on several issues including Gaspar’s record on healthcare, gun control, COVID-19 response and climate change.

Lawson-Remer also went in to detail about her support for Prop 15, which would raise property taxes on business owners. Her opponent, Supervisor Kristin Gaspar, is strongly against any kind of increased taxes on small business owners.

This policy difference will become a major topic of discussion as the election approaches.
