49th annual Greek Festival happening this weekend

The parishioners of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church invite all to a celebration of culture and community in the heart of San Diego.

This annual gathering offers a variety of Greek cuisine, handmade pastries, and traditional Greek coffee, all within the festive atmosphere of music and dance.

Live bands will perform both traditional and contemporary Greek music, and youth dance troupes wearing folk costumes will showcase their skills throughout the weekend.

The Oracle Wine Lounge boasts the largest array of Greek wines in California, while the Opa beer garden offers both imported Greek and domestic brews.

There will be a Greek foods market, shopping, a kids’ activity area, and frequent church tours led by Father Andrew Scordalakis.
