5/18/19: CIF San Diego Track and Field Championships

The CIF San Diego Track and Field championships taking place at Mt. Carmel.

On the boys side, Helix’s Eric Parker wins the 400 meter dash with a time of 48.08 seconds.

Point Loma’s Altan Mitchell wins the triple jump, scoring a distance of 47 feet 10 inches on his first attempt.

And  Madison’s Kenan Christon takes both the 100 and 200 meter dash, winning the 100 with a time of 10.33 seconds.

On the girls side, Rancho Bernardo’s Ashley Callahan wins the pole vault with this jump clearing 13 feet 4 inches.

Madison’s Aysha Shaheed takes both the 100 and 200 meter dash.

Coronado’s Alysah Hickey wins the long jump competition with a distance of 19 feet 7 and 1/2 inches.

And San Diego High’s Sonia Redon and Charlize James go 1-2 in the 100 meter hurdles. Sonia winning with a wind-aided time of 14.17 seconds.
