50th Congressional District Candidate Dr. Helen Horvath

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A poll released Monday shows the race to succeed former Congressmember Duncan D. Hunter.

A Union Tribune poll, conducted by more than 500 likely voters, shows Democrat Ammar Campa-Najjar leading a crowded field. Closely following him are Republican opponents Darrell Issa and Carl Demaio. Independent Helen Horvath and Republican Nathan Wilkins tied at 1 percent.

The top two finishers in the March 3rd Primary will advance to the general election in November.
