7-Eleven robbery
A convenience store in San Ysidro was robbed at
gunpoint on Saturday, a police officer said.
The gun wielding robber demanded cash from a clerk at the 7-Eleven store
at 644 East San Ysidro Blvd. shortly after 1 a.m., San Diego police Officer
David Stafford said.
The suspect ran westbound from the scene with an undisclosed amount,
according to the officer.
No one was injured, Stafford said.
Police described the suspect as Hispanic, about 30, and around 5 feet 6
with a medium build. He was wearing a blue shirt, blue pants and a blue cap.
