9/17/19 Boys Water Polo: Grossmont 12, Eastlake 10

The Foothillers of Grossmont hosting Eastlake in boys water polo. 

Titan senior goalkeeper James Derrod begins the game needing six saves to break the CIF San Diego all time saves record. 

With 3 minutes left in the game, the Eastlake goalie sets the record with his 1,050th career save. 

Unfortunately for the visitors, Grossmont’s Ty Case and James Getch spoil the party as the Foothillers go on to win 12-10 and improve to 4-3 on the season.
