Adopt A Pet: Meet Lillian!

Rhonda McAllister from the Greyhound Adoption Center introduced Francella Perez to Lillian, a year-old greyhound up for adoption.

LILLIAN is a four-year-old retired greyhound residing at the Greyhound Adoption Center in El Cajon. She arrived with two-year-old Reese from the Caliente racetrack on April 10th. They were named for their transporter’s granddaughters!

Lillian has tested both cat and small dog friendly, and would enjoy living in an active home with children of all ages. She is an active, inquisitive, loving greyhound who should adjust nicely to becoming part of a real family.

All dogs from the Greyhound Adoption Center have a complete medical evaluation, are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and undergo a thorough dental cleaning.

They are then fully evaluated for temperament and personality as well as tested with cats, small dogs, and young children before being profiled for a home.

Please come out and meet Lillian and her 45 adoptable companions THIS Sunday, June 17, 2018, when the Greyhound Adoption Center hosts an Open House and tour of their beautiful and world-renouned facility from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. The address is 4821 Dehesa Road in El Cajon. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the breed, greyhound rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and volunteer opportunities.

All well behaved dogs of any breed are invited to attend!

There will be raffles, a food truck, and loads of fun! For more information about either activity, call toll free at 1-877-478-8364, visit,or follow GAC on Facebook!
