Adopt Chopper and Summer from Labrador Rescuers

From Labrador Rescuers:
Chopper came to LR because his family is experiencing a hardship and can’t keep him. His previous owner said he was also good with their 3 cats.

Chop is listed as being a Lab Mix. This is because he has a white patch on his chest, which is atypical of a purebred Black Labrador. However, besides the white patch, he appears to be all Labrador.

Chopper Update from his foster family: Sweet, Loving, and extremely loyal. Medium energy and medium in size. Loves to go for rides and walks. Fairly good on the leash and will play fetch, with the right kind of throw toy. Can be a little possessive of his people, Neighborhood walks and hiking trails would be fine for him. He is very smart and trainable. He is housebroken, and will use a crate, if need be. Does not chew, counter cruise, or trash dive.

He was recently neutered by Labrador Rescuers. It was discovered that he has Hypothyroidism during his vetting with us. He acts much younger than his nine years. He will make someone or some family a loving and loyal companion. Could he be your companion?

Sweet Summer came in with Rocky. Her family has trusted LR with her care to find a new forever family for her, as they are experiencing hardship and can’t keep her any longer.
Summer is a friendly easy going girl.

She loves to take walks and be with her people. Summer is great with kids and the owner says she is good with cats too.
