Adopt ‘Mickey’ from the Little Dog Rescue

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Mickey is a 5 1/2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier and St Bernard Mix. He is 65 pounds and an adorable boy that has had a rough start and has really been overlooked for way too long. He has been waiting for his forever home for 4 1/2 years. He came to us from a hoarding situation at the age of 1.

He had never been potty trained, on a leash, or learned his manners. He ended up in boarding for some time, while we searched for a foster willing and able to help him. Mickey eventually made it to a foster home, and his foster worked wonders with him and got him house trained, walking nicely on a leash, and taught him commands. Mickey has been a good boy and is so sweet and loving, but continues to be overlooked at adoption events.

He is good with kids and with dogs, and has a big beautiful smile. If you are interested in adopting Mickey, our adoption fees are $375 and include vaccinations, microchip, and neuter (which have been completed). To adopt, please go to our website www.thelittlereddog.com and click on “forms” and fill out an application. Please feel free to contact us at 949-244-5382. Please be Mickey’s hero!!
