Advice on ways to pay for college

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – It’s college applications season with high school seniors already having turned in their applications for University of California and California State University, and now spending the month of December applying to California private schools and out-of-state colleges.

But being accepted into college is only half of the battle. Parents and students also need to figure out how to pay for it. The sticker price to attend a UC school is $34,000 per year — $65,000 if you want to attend Harvard or Yale.
