Alarm Clock Pep Rally Game: Mar Vista Mariners 0 at Valhalla Norseman 47
Our Week 4 Alarm Clock Pep Rally game takes us to Valhalla High School as they host the Mar Vista Mariners.
From the very beginning Valhalla was in complete control. They would strike first with the Rahshaun Sharpe touchdown run giving the Norseman a 7-0 lead. Then Mar Vista would fumble the snap and it’s recovered by Valhalla’s Chris Yohe. That would set up the Phillip Naseh to Neever Kryakos 17 yard touchdown pass giving the Norseman a 14-0 lead.
The Norseman defense would bring the fire almost forcing a safety as the first quarter comes to a close. From there the Mariners run into more problems. The punt is blocked in the end zone and tossed out at the 2 yard line. Valhalla’s Jerome Johnson with the touchdown on the goal line to put the Norseman up 21-0. From there it’s a run away for Valhalla. Sharpe would have a nice 31 yard scamper to the end zone later in the quarter. Naseh would connect with Kryakos again before the end of the half.
Mariners visibly frustrated taking their first loss of the season. Next up for Mar Vista is a bye week to regroup. For Valhalla they will take on Patrick Henry in Week 5.
