Helix pulling off a 21-6 victory over Bonita Vista in Week 6 to improve to 3-2 as the Barons drop to 0-5 on the season.

After a slow Scottie start they were able to put points on the board thanks to a 2 touchdown 161 yard rushing performance by Brett Braunsdorf. Braunsdorf pounding the ball until he broke free for the 10 yard touchdown scamper in the 3rd quarter and 51 yard score shortly after.

Josh Godfrey also making some catches but it was Anthony Posada to Nick Esquivias that put the Baron’s on the board in the 2nd quarter.

Other bright spots for the Scotties was the 59 yard punt return by Rashad Scott and a touchdown reception by Jaylen Arnold.

Up next for Helix, they will host Steele Canyon to start league play. Meanwhile Bonita Vista will host Castle Park on their home turf.
