America’s Finest BBQ State Championship will benefit SD Police Museum
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – America’s Finest BBQ State Championship is partnering with San Diego Bayfair this year for an event that will benefit the non-profit San Diego Police Museum.
The event will feature some of southern California’s best competition BBQ teams as well as several teams from out of state. Teams are made up of professional BBQ pit masters, active and retired military, Law Enforcement, EMS and serious BBQ enthusiasts.

The championship will be at Crown Point during the Bayfair Thunder boat races on Sept. 14, gates open at 9:00 A.M. – BBQ will be available beginning at 12:00 P.M.
