Ammar Campa-Najjar running again for California’s 50th District

SAN DIEGO (KUSI)- After a narrow loss to Congressman Duncan D. Hunter in last year’s election, Ammar Campa-Najjar is running for California’s 50th District again. The 50th Congressional District includes areas like Fallbrook, San Marcos, and Escondido.

Campa-Najjar details his plans for election reform. He wants to make election day a national holiday, make elections publicly funded, and explains why he believes voter ID is unnecessary.

Later in the interview, Campa-Najjar details his support for apprenticeships, what he plans to change for his 2020 campaign.

He joined the show this morning to talk more about his campaign and some of his policies.
