SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Eight adults were displaced early Tuesday when their apartment building caught fire in Mission Hills, a fire department dispatcher said.
The fire at 3970 Goldfinch St. — next door to San Diego Fire Station No. 8 — was reported about midnight, a San Diego fire-rescue dispatcher said. It was quickly knocked down.
Two people suffered smoke inhalation but both declined an ambulance ride to the hospital, according to the dispatcher.
Damage was estimated at $100,000 to the two-story structure and $25,000 to its content, she said.
