Arnold Schwarzenegger made an appearance at Camp Pendleton Sunday

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Former California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger made an appearance at Camp Pendleton Sunday.

Hundreds of Camp Pendleton Marine were present as Schwarzenegger snapped selfies, shook hands, and signed autographs. His appearance was to promote his newest Terminator sequel.

“Terminator Genesis” is the fifth Terminator movie, and Marines were treated to a special screening Sunday.

Schwarzenegger said he chose to debut the screening of the film at Camp Pendleton because he says the Marine Corps gives him good luck. The Austrian native also spoke about how the American Military enabled him to come to America and Follow his dreams.

“Terminator Genesis” opens in theaters on July 1, 2015.
