The 35th Annual Fiesta Old Town Cinco de Mayo.

(This is THE Cinco de Mayo event! There will be over 40 Latin bands,
food vendors, a low-rider show, lucha libre wrestling, a kids area and
stagecoach rides. It’s all throughout Old Town. Take the trolley so you
don’t have to search for parking.)

competitors race to the beat of drums. You’ll find food and music along
with the races.)

27th Annual Pug Party

(This is the biggest gathering of pugs on the West Coast! Over 400
pugs expected to participate in this event put on by the Pug Rescue of
San Diego. There’s a pug costume contest, a pug wet T-shirt contest
and a cupcake chomp.)
