Arrest of teen could be linked to 42 ‘hot prowl’ burglaries

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – San Diego Police are trying to determine whether the arrest of a 17-year-old boy in Clairemont Wednesday morning is linked to over 40 "hot prowl" burglaries in the Scripps Ranch area – extremely dangerous burglaries where the suspects break into homes while people are sleeping.
