Art Alive 2018 happening now at the San Diego Museum of Art

The San Diego Museum of Art is pleased to introduce the 37th annual Art Alive 2018, themed around the Museum’s spring exhibition Nancy Lorenz: Moon Gold, which also opens Friday.

Running April 27 – April 29, 2018, the Museum’s signature fundraiser will bring together 100+ floral designers to transform works of art into exquisite floral displays.

The San Diego Museum of Art will blossom into the party of the year with Art Alive’s opening celebration, for Bloom Bash. Guests will experience:
o 100+ floral interpretations at the Art Alive 2018 Floral Exhibition
o An adventurous selection of floral-fused custom cocktails
o Stunning installations from HYBYCOZO and Taylor Dean Harrison on view for this night only.
o Divine delicacies from San Diego’s top fine dining eateries
o Live music, performances, and dancing all night long
o Craft beer and coffee by local brewery powerhouse Modern Times.
• Tickets to Art Alive are free for members, $25 nonmembers and $5 youth (7–17)
• Tickets to Bloom Bash are $200 for members and $250 for nonmembers
