Assemblywoman proposes bill for gender equal sports pay
SAN DIEGO (KUSI)- A new bill proposed by Assemblywoman Tasha Boerner Horvath wants to have sports prize equity for both male and female participants in sports.
In the past years there has been historic reports of women being paid less than men in the sports industry.
Today at a press conference multiple advocates spoke about the pay gap between female and male athletes.
The bill proposed that sports held on public land should be equal pay for all participants.
