‘At-risk’ woman reported missing from San Diego, police ask public to help locate her

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — The San Diego Police Department asked the public Tuesday to help locate a woman who is considered “at-risk.”

At approximately 4:30 p.m., 50-year-old Xin “Cynthia” Liu left her residence at 8222 Via Panacea on foot.  Liu was last seen wearing a white sweater with no further clothing description available.

Liu suffers medical conditions which make her an at-risk missing person.

Liu is known to be a homebody and rarely leaves the house but to walk her dog. The only known place she frequents are the walking trails and construction area around her home.  The police helicopter searched the surrounding areas and were unable to locate her.

Liu is described as a Asian female, with brown hair and brown eyes. She’s 5’3″ and weighs 95 pounds.

Liu’s family believes she does not use public transportation.  Liu’s cellular phone was turned off and local hospitals checked negative for her.

Anything with information is asked to contact the San Diego Police Department at 619-531-2000.
