Authorities looking for man who robbed Shell gas station in Golden Hill

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Police were on the lookout for a man, on Friday, who robbed a gas station in San Diego’s Golden Hill neighborhood.

The robbery at the Shell gas station at 2484 F St. was reported at 9:51 p.m. Thursday, according to San Diego police Officer Robert Heims.

A man simulated having a weapon as he demanded cash from an employee, who complied, Heims said in a statement. No one was hurt.

Police described the robber as a man of unknown race, around 5 feet 9 with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a hood pulled over his head, black pants and carrying a black backpack, Heims said, adding that the robber fled on foot westbound in the north alley of 2500 G Street.
