Authorities looking for suspect in trolley double stabbing

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – San Diego police Monday were on the lookout for a man in his 20s suspected of stabbing two men on a trolley in Lincoln Park.

The stabbings in the vicinity of 350 47th St. were reported at 9:13 p.m. Sunday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

The victims were in a group of four men who got into a verbal altercation with the lone suspect while on the trolley, he said in a statement.

The argument escalated when the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed one man three times in the torso and once on the wrist, and another man in the chest, Delimitros said, adding that none of the wounds were life-threatening.

Police were looking for a white man, around 25 years old, with dark shoulder-length hair and a tattoo of a triangle under one eye. He was last seen getting off the trolley at the 47th Street stop, wearing a black shirt and black skinny jeans, Delimitros said.
