Average price of gasoline drops again Tuesday
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Tuesday to its lowest amount since Feb. 4, 2015, decreasing 1.6 cents to $2.507.
The average price has dropped 40 of the past 41 days, decreasing 55.6 cents, including a half-cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 11.4 cents less than one week ago, 42.6 cents lower than one month ago and 31.9 cents below what it was one year ago. The average price decreased for 24 consecutive days, was unchanged Jan. 31, then resumed dropping Feb. 1.
