Average San Diego County gas price drops for 28th consecutive day
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Wednesday for the 28th consecutive day, decreasing 1.6 cents to $3.793, its lowest amount since Sept. 25.
The average price has dropped 26.5 cents during the streak, including 1.3 cents on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 6.2 cents less than one week ago and 26.4 cents less than one month ago but 29.1 cents more than one year ago. It has increased 45.2 cents since the start of the year.
