The Aztecs take on NC State Friday at 9:40 a.m.

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – The San Diego State University Alumni Association will host a “watch party” this morning at a Mission Valley restaurant for the school's NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament contest against North Carolina State.

The event at Randy Jones All American Sports Grill begins at 9 a.m. Tip-off for the game in Columbus, Ohio, is scheduled for 9:40 a.m.

The Aztecs, with a 26-7 record, are seeded sixth in the Midwest Regional after sharing the Mountain West regular season title and appearing in the conference tournament championship game. The Wolfpack, 22-12, are seeded 11th after tying for fourth place in the Atlantic Coast Conference regular season
This is SDSU's third straight appearance in the “Big Dance.”

Last year, the Aztecs defeated Northern Colorado and Temple to advance to the “Sweet 16,” where they fell to eventual national champion Connecticut. The prior season, they lost in the first round to Tennessee.
