Barstool Sports puts a unique twist on golf coverage

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – As San Diego prepared for the 2021 US Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course, media members from all over the world were preparing for press conferences and the traditional question and answer sessions with some of golf’s top starts.

But, as media changes, so does the coverage.

Barstool Sports has successfully covered golf with a unique twist, a style of coverage that their fans and the players both enjoy.

KUSI’s Nic Pollino met up with the Barstool Sports team at Torrey Pines to speak with them about how covering golf “as a fan,” has helped them grow the game.
