Bernie Sanders rallies in San Diego for third time in two weeks

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — Bernie Sanders was in San Diego again Sunday, for the third time in two weeks in preparation for California’s primary Tuesday.

Cornell West introduced the presidential candidate with excitement and Sanders took the stage to crowds of cheers.

About three thousand people attended the rally in Mission Valley, according to Secret Service. Some waited in line up to  four hours.

In his speech, Sanders took direct aim at Donald Trump and called for the people to come together to make change.

Sanders said he will continue to fight until the Democratic National Convention in July because he believed neither him nor Hillary will have the votes needed to win the nomination outright.
