Bike sharing in San Diego meeting needs to reach climate action plans

Andy Hanshaw of the San Diego County Bike Coalition joined Good Morning San Diego to talk about the positive impact bike sharing is having in the community.

There are four bikeshare companies in San Diego – One station-based (Discover Bike) and three dockless (LimeBike, Mobike and ofo.)

According to California-based LimeBike, more than 30,000 trips were taken during the last two weeks in the City of San Diego — exactly the type of numbers the City needs to reach its climate action plan goals.
