Body found in Oceanside park
OCEANSIDE (CNS) – A man walking his dog made a gruesome discovery early Monday when he came upon a man’s body in an Oceanside park, police said.
The body of Mustafa Gordon, which bore signs of blunt force trauma, was found in the northern edge of Buddy Todd Park at 2800 Mesa Drive about 5:45 a.m., according to Oceanside police Lt. Leonard Cosby.
Gordon appeared to be in his early to mid-20s, Cosby said in a statement, adding “at this time, there are no leads” regarding the death.
