Woman’s body found in Point Loma waters
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – 5:37 p.m. – San Diego Medical Examiner identified the body as 77-year-old Clairemont woman, Marie Donson.
A scuba diving charter boat found her decomposing body.
Donson was last seen the morning of September 8 and a missing persons report was filed with the San Diego police. She was reported as high risk because she suffered from senility issues.
11:09 a.m. – The body of a drowned woman was found by a fishing vessel in the kelp beds off Point Loma.

The San Diego Police Department and the county Medical Examiner were called to investigate.
Lifeguards said they had the woman’s name and age, but were withholding the information as medical examiners notified her family.
