Breast Cancer study looks at benefits of Mediterranean diet

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Breast Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in women.

Research suggests that diet can influence Breast Cancer development and a new study looks at the benefits of a Mediterranean diet that high in nuts and good fats like olive oil.

Doctor Christina Casteel, medical director of the Breast Health Center at Sharp Memorial Hospital, sat down with KUSI to discuss the impact of the Mediterranean diet on Breast Cancer patients.
