Brian Maryott’s campaign for the 49th Congressional District

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The race for the 49th Congressional District is on.

Brian Maryott is one candidate vying for the 49th Congressional District against incumbent Rep. Mike Levin and Republican Christopher Rodriguez.

The 49th district covers the northern coastal areas of San Diego County and a portion of southern Orange County.

Maryott himself joined KUSI’s Jason Austell on “Good Morning San Diego” to discuss details of this campaign.

The former mayor of San Juan Capistrano plans to focus on border security, jobs, the economy, and improving education.
