Brush fire chokes San Carlos with smoke

(CNS) – Crews have contained that brush fire off Mission Gorge Road and
Margerum Avenue in San Carlos, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue
Department. The blaze, which scorched just over an acre, caused no reported
structural damage and prompted no evacuations.
